New sensorization is needed in Infrastructures and Vehicles to enable the deployment of secure and cooperative systems where machine vision and communications (including 5G) will play a crucial role.

The presentation will be divided into analyzing the technological challenge posed by the need to include artificial vision and communications for both infrastructures and vehicles, thus being able to build a situational context to ensure the safety of infrastructures through the development of a contextual description of the situation, which is based on cooperative systems and that will help the management and complex decision making both at the infrastructure level and at the vehicle level, providing information and tools for the deployment of intelligent traffic control and monitoring systems".
