When a major catastrophe or an attack with multiple victims occurs, a planned and adequate system for transmitting information to the population as a whole, and to the victims and their families in particular, is required. It is necessary to avoid aggravating the situation of tension and anxiety of the general public, as well as their collaboration in order not to hinder the actions of the security, emergency and health services.
